Equine Ergonomics Collective

Online Saddle Fit Support for Horses and Riders

Equine Ergonomics Collective (EEC) provides online saddle fit assessments and remote saddle fitting support for riders who want to better understand the relationship between the horse, saddle and rider.

EEC is run by Lara van den Berge, Certified Equine Ergonomist, with six years of professional saddle-fitting experience and more than 2,000 hands-on saddle assessments. My approach looks beyond the saddle itself. I consider the horse, rider and saddle as a whole, with equine comfort at the centre of the assessment.I use an evidence-informed, ergonomic approach to consider conformation, posture, saddle fit, rider position and the individual circumstances of each horse and rider.

How Can We Help?

Whether you're unsure where to start or already know what you need, there are three ways to get support from EEC.

Not Sure If An Online Assessment Is Right For You?

Let's talk first. Not every saddle-fitting situation can be assessed effectively online. If you're unsure whether a virtual saddle fit assessment is appropriate for your horse and your particular concerns, you can book a free, no-obligation 15-minute Google Meet conversation. We'll discuss your horse, saddle and situation and determine whether an online assessment is a suitable option. There is no obligation to book an assessment afterwards.

Online Saddle Fit Feedback - $49 USD

For riders who want professional feedback on their horse, saddle and situation without a consultation call.Your submitted information, photographs and videos are reviewed, and you'll receive written feedback on the areas that can be assessed remotely.

Online Saddle Fit Assessment + Consultation - $95 USD

For riders who want a more comprehensive assessment with a one-hour Google Meet discussion of the findings.Your information, photographs and videos are reviewed before the consultation. We'll then work through the findings and your specific concerns together, followed by a written summary.
